What QC photos are
When an item reaches the warehouse, LitBuy says it checks it and provides quality-check (QC) photos. They show what actually arrived from the seller, so you can confirm it before paying for international shipping.
Once a parcel leaves China, sending an item back is far harder and more expensive. That makes the QC step the most important check of the whole order.
What to check in every set of photos

| Colour | Compare with the listing photos. Warehouse lighting can shift colours slightly; a clearly different colour is a problem. |
| Size label | The tag shows the size you ordered. |
| Measurements | If a tape measure is shown, compare with the seller’s size chart (see below). |
| Visible defects | Stains, holes, loose threads, glue marks, scratches, dents or uneven stitching. |
| Quantity and extras | The right number of items, plus any accessories, straps, cables or boxes the listing includes. |
| Electronics | Photos can’t show that something works. Ask whether a basic function check is possible. |
Checking measurements
For clothing, measurements matter more than the size tag. When a photo includes a tape measure:
- Find the same measurement on the seller’s size chart (for example chest width or length).
- Allow for small differences: garments measured by hand often differ by a centimetre or two.

When to ask for more photos
- A detail you care about isn’t visible, such as a logo, a zip or the sole of a shoe.
- You can’t tell the colour or the size tag from the standard photos.
- Something looks damaged and you want a closer view.
Exchanges and returns
If an item is wrong or damaged, deal with it while it’s still in the warehouse. Whether you can exchange or return it depends on the seller’s policy, and domestic return shipping inside China may cost extra. Act quickly: sellers often have a limited window.

QC photo FAQ
What does GL and RL mean?
Community shorthand for “green light” (accept the item and keep it for shipping) and “red light” (don’t accept it: exchange or return). You’ll see it when people ask for opinions on their QC photos.
Do QC photos prove an item is authentic?
No. Photos show the item’s condition and whether it matches the listing. They don’t verify authenticity. A branded item priced far below retail is very likely counterfeit, and counterfeits can be seized by customs.
What if my item isn’t photographed from the angle I need?
